CRASH ON UNION CEMETERY RD  - Posted August 9, 2006

LSFD crews responded this at 5am to the 9300 block of Union Cemetery Road for a single car accident with entrapment. Rescue 62, Medic 61, Engine 62 Battalion One Captain Books, Deputy Goldfeder and The Emergency Services Unit responded to assist with scene safety and traffic control. A single vehicle struck the wall of the Union Cemetery. The driver was pronounced on scene with injuries incompatible with life. Members of Rescue 62 and Engine 62 utilized hydraulic tools to free the driver at the request of the Hamilton County Corner and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Traffic Safety Unit. Members remained on scene for several hours assisting with the investigation.
