In the early morning hours of December 19th, LSFD Quint 63 along with Chief Huber, Asst Chief Turner and Deputy Chief Goldfeder responded to a reported (by police) working house fire on Butterworth Road in Hamilton Township.

Upon arrival, Battalion 76 (HTFD) reported heavy fire thru the roof of a large single family dwelling. Q-63's ladder pipe was placed in service for the initial knockdown due to the volume of fire, along with handlines from E-76. Following that, 2.5" handlines were pulled along with 1-3/4" for the balance of the fire. Among companies operating on the scene were Hamilton, Loveland-Symmes, Deerfield, Union/South Lebanon, Harlan, Morrow/Salem, Goshen and the Warren County Fire Investigation Unit.
